Insight Manager (Money Guiders)

c.£55,000 per annum

Bedford

Fixed Term Contract, 12 months

Hybrid Working

 

The Insight Manager is the organisation’s subject matter expert in a specific field of insight. They take full ownership of key strategic research projects, from commissioning to project management, and present insights to senior stakeholders.. The Insight Manager builds and maintains a strong network of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the insight agenda, collaborating closely with partner research agencies. Given the focus on Money Guiders , their work involves researching audiences such as organisations offering money guidance services, money guidance practitioners and the UK population in need of money guidance.

The Insight Manager will report directly to Senior Insight Manager, whilst working closely with the Money Guiders team. In this role you will be responsible for the following;

  • Commissioning and managing research projects, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
  • Translating stakeholder requests into effective research briefs and managing research agency relationships.
  • Analysing quantitative and qualitative data, including complex datasets, to provide objective insights.
  • Developing and presenting compelling stories through reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify evidence gaps and insight opportunities.
  • Ensuring research materials and deliverables meet project objectives and business needs.
  • Integrating with the Money Guiders team and ensuring insight lies at the heart of Money Guiders’ growth

 

You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

 

  • Relevant experience in research, ideally in the field of money or personal finance.
  • Ability to manage both qualitative and quantitative studies and ongoing tracking projects.
  • Proficient in research design, questionnaire development, fieldwork management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in resolving issues and managing third-party agencies.
  • Proficiency in analysing data using Excel, SPSS or similar, and experience
  • Excellent analytical and influencing skills to present complex information to various audiences.

At MaPS, we take pride in our flexible approach to work.  Most of our roles can operate on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Hybrid working is a voluntary, noncontractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs, but personal and other relevant circumstances will also be considered. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
