Relationship Manager

c. £50,000 per annum

“Being fully remote, the Relationship Manager will have the freedom to work autonomously and support two exceptional teams within MaPS. A key part of the role is supporting the Money Guiders programme Partners. This programme provides free professional development to organisations or practitioners who ever give any type of money guidance to customers in need. The programme is open to a diverse range of organisations and practitioners in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

 The Relationship Manager will maintain and build long lasting relationships working together with the Money Guider Partners to improve money guidance delivery in a way that fits in with their resources, aims and plans and also the UK Partnerships Team to support employers with their financial wellbeing pledge."

The Relationship Manager will report directly to the Senior Relationship Manager, in this role you will be responsible for the following.

  • Ongoing relationship management of identified Money Guiders partner organisations to:
    • Evaluate their level of engagement and closing gaps
    • Encourage engagement with the networks and communities
    • Inform programme development
    • Day to day point of contact
  • Supporting the onboarding of new Money Guiders partners.
  • Manage and report on the Financial Wellbeing Pledge certification and re-certification process, including maintenance of a database of signatories and proof points
  • Work with UK Partnership Team colleagues to support the Financial Wellbeing Pledge.
  • Contribute to other UK Partnership Team or MaPS projects as required.
  • Provide occasional back-up to the Partnership Executive in relation to MaPS internal systems and processes such as finance and event planning

You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience.

  • Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Understand the complex and diverse systems within which the Money Guiders partner organisations and practitioners operate at a strategic, policy and practice level
  • The ability to manage and prioritise work while under time pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage/ influence others to meet deadlines and required standards.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Strong organisational, time management and planning skills.
  • Strong team player capabilities enjoying matrix working.
  • Advanced experience with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

At MaPS, we take pride in our flexible approach to work.  Most of our roles can operate on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Hybrid working is a voluntary, noncontractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs, but personal and other relevant circumstances will also be considered. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
